Our Story
Pawtrait began with a simple idea: pet celebrations should feel as personal as the pets themselves.
So we started creating custom pet cakes inspired by their faces, markings, expressions, and all the little details people know by heart.

Why Pawtrait
WE WANTED MORE THAN A PET TREAT
Most pet treats are made to be practical or cute.
We wanted to create something that actually felt connected to the pet being celebrated.
Their face. Their markings. Their expression. The details their person would recognize immediately.
That idea became Pawtrait: a Los Angeles pet bakery creating custom cakes designed around the pets people love.
I’m Tim, and BaoBao is our very opinionated co owner pictured here.
Pawtrait started because we wanted pet celebrations to feel a little more personal and a lot more memorable.
So we built Pawtrait around custom cakes, thoughtful ingredients, and the kind of details that make you stop and say, “Yep, that is absolutely my pet.”
BaoBao mostly handles quality control, emotional support, and staring at us while we work.
We’re based in Los Angeles and just getting started, which honestly makes this part pretty exciting. Every order still feels personal to us, because it is.

FROM PHOTO TO CAKE
Every cake starts with the pet, not a template.
Clean ingredients
Thoughtfully chosen for every Pawtrait.
Pawtrait Pet Bakery is based in Los Angeles, where pets have a way of becoming part of the whole lifestyle.
Birthdays, gotcha days, photo shoots, little milestones, big milestones. Around here, nobody really needs an excuse to celebrate their pet.
That makes LA feel like the perfect home for Pawtrait.
Every cake is made here with the same goal: to create something personal, memorable, and completely centered around the pet being celebrated.
